Sorry

This is a post dedicated to the people who love me more than anything else...

As I'm writing this, I am in the middle of despair and confusions. I have no idea why I have been on-lining for the past 3 hours when I should be studying for my SAT II, especially for Biology.

I am really afraid that I let you guys down. I cannot imagine how you guys will try to pretend that it's ok when your hearts are practically shattered into a million pieces like a fallen chandelier.

And I know that I will be putting up a It's-OK-Look to assure you guys that I am fine and I can face whatever that shall fall upon me. But please, give me some space so that I could breathe and harvest enough courage to face you guys. I don't want you all to see me cry...

I'm so sorry...

PS: OMG! It seems like I'm planning a suicide or anything like that...and it's all your fault! Hmmphh...

Coffee Stain and tteokbokki

Lemme start off with today's special...

..........
............
..........
............
..........
............
..........

Tada!!!
It's tteokbokki (Korean fried rice cake).
I went back to good ol' Ipoh last Thursday and on the following Saturday, me and my Auntie Shirley went to Ipoh's Yae Won nearby Tesco.
Besides trying out the bibimbap (mine has beef) and some side dishes (kim chi and gang),
I also ta-pau some tteobokki, thought of sharing it with my Mummy and Daddy.
Omma (was forever her usual self of I-touch-nothing-spicy) ended up ignoring me and the tteokbokki while my Appa was munching piece after piece (but still had the time and mood to say "Aiya...not nice also..."

Haih...Appa ah...

And then, on another occasion (which is today =) )

Coffee Stain 1

Coffee Stain 2

Coffee Stain 3

I *heart* the smell of dried basi coffee on my Moral journal.

Haha...

Thanks ya, W. H. for the coffee and the simple feedback...

我要学会放松自己。。。

回到家感觉真好!!!

终于, 可以用中文打字。。。哈哈。。

Haha...
There's been time when I was so emo...always thinking of the bad stuffs and all...which was so negative and depressing. I couldn't help comparing myself with other people, which was so not me.

Throughout the last two years in MGS, I learned how not to bother about who scored how much for which subject because I found it so 幼稚, ninny and harebrained. Seriously, I do NOT give it a damm. I mean, there's no point doing so because scoring high marks in your examinations did not necessarily meant that you would be successful like Mr. Gates. Besides, there's so many other things to do!!! =)

But then, after I received the scholarship, I realized that I've become more kiasu than ever!!! Even my friends noticed the capricious change in me.

Looking back, it's pretty scary...I mean, if I continued to act like that, I'd probably gone haywire soon!!!

So, right now, I try not to think so much about flying and all that stuffs...I'll just be the old me!!

佛陀曾说, 我们人啊,要学会看破红尘。。。
哈哈。。

Ok-lah, I admit-lah, the Buddha did not exactly said so...but, he did said something like that!!!

Post SAT

Yippie yay Yay...

The scores were out about 24 hours ago...and yeah, I did better than I thought although I seriously sucked in the essay part...which I already thought so...LOL...

Well, I guess retake is a priority now...since I did not have an over-the-world-score...(read: 2001 onwards)...so, there goes my money, contributing towards the development of the evil ETS (Evil Testing Serpent) of CBoard...sigh...so expensive...

Sigh...some people are really good at acing the SAT...I mean, these people were having such high scores and all (especially fellow Soompiers)...which made me felt sidelined by the admission committee (when they say they do not really look much into your SAT scores, it's pure crap)...

Sigh...let me continue emo first...

Haha

Tattoo by Jordin Sparks

Erm, I forgot to mention about hearing this song at Queensbay after watching Max Payne...
which made me a lil emo...

It has been 8 months but it kept coming back...especially when I heard the familiar music and chorus, I just couldn't stop recalling those images, as if they were being played like a music video or something like that..

It can get a little disheartening every time I listened to the song. After all, you sorta introduced it to me...ok-lah, in an indirect way.

Too bad...

The 18PL Journey (Part 2)

Now, where did I stop?

Hmm...oh yeah, now I recall, the sewage system in Penang. Haha...

So after TOEFL, we went to Queensbay Mall, a new but secluded shopping mall nearby Sg. Nibong bus terminal. That place was rather awesome; it was huge (much bigger than good ol' Ipoh's JJ) and there's even an ice skating rink! Apart from that, there's also so many branded stores like Topshop and all...and I was like, wooo-ooh...

Anyway, we were there not because we were inspired to do some shopping after crushing our brains over the TOEFL, but rather, we were there to watch a movie (I wanted to shoooooooooop though!!!), hence, the bunch of us ended up watching Max Payne. Ok, I don't want to start a war with the producers and director of Max Payne but...I find it rather a shitty movie as it SCARED the hell outta me from the beginning although the fear subsided towards the ending...AND, it was also the first time I got so humiliated! That guy - the cinema guy - wanted to check on my age. I was like, what the hell. Do I look like a primary school girl? I remembered watching another show last year (also 18PL) and NOBODY bothered about my age. What the hell...

However, I got to comment the theme; don't do drugs (that scriptwriter darn smart -lah, can thought of combining Viking legends with modern drugs...so outta the world).
Haha...

Nan...dining at Dome...nice shot really...covered my face =) Reminded me of some random eoljjang-ness...Haha...

After the meal, once again, we embarked on yet another journey. No-lah, not walking back to KL-lah...of course...We were to make a beeline to the bus terminal which was about 15 minutes or so from the shopping mall on foot. Again, the journey felt like a year as we carry our heavy asses...oops...I mean our mentally and physically drained bodies. I lead the way again and (thank god) this time, no, I did not bring these poor souls for another stroll in the park (I'm so sorry!!!)

It was around 8 when we reached the bus terminal and we searched franctically (LOL...hyperbole again) for bus tickets heading back to KL before finally settling down on a PlusLiner VIP coach (the ticket costs 35 bucks each).

Challenged myself again as I remained fully awake throughout the journey again (dunno want to cry or want to laugh at my stupidity) which in turn, totally taken it's toll on me. I was getting more and more tired, my eyelids were getting heavier and heavier, my heart pumping slower and slower.......

ZZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZzzzzz.....

The 18PL Journey (Part 1)

To begin with, no-lah...there's nothing 18PL about the journey to Penang. But to highlight, it was merely a journey of a bunch of 18 year old boys and girls up-north to the Island of the Orient *aiyo...so bodek-ing* to sit for the TOEFL exams.

Here's the cast:

1. moi S2
2. Alicia @ Lil' Princess Ally (officially 18)
3. QiFei @ Princess (legally 18)
4. ChyeHong @ Rainbow (soon-to-be-18)
5. SinYee @ Teacher Koh (turned 18 couple of days ago)
6. Mr. Jonathan @ Homo Hero 1 (unknown; but should be 18 too)
7. Mr. Nicholas @ Homo Hero 2 & Teacher Koh's adopted son (turned 18 couple of days ago)

I know. The cast's totally ignored the Yin and Yang theory but um...who cares, right?

It was my second time there this year; the first was when I was on my way home with my appa and omma and my-forever-deafening-granny from Kem Dusun Minda Resort aka Camp of Hades in Kuala Nerang, Kedah to good ol' Ipoh.

Some recap...

This is one of the buildings found in the famous Kek Lok Si Temple near the Ayer Itam market and the well-known Chung Kam Chuan's Local's Delight Shop (If you are a very Chinese or very Geography-minded person, you will know-lah. Chung Kam Chuan is Penang's equivalent of Malacca's Tan Kim Hock).

This is the island's view from the temple. I took it when my appa said, "Why you so free ar? Take something else-lah."

Sigh...my appa...

I ignored him and went on to take the second pic...Haha...

Ok, enough of digression.

Nevertheless, the journey ffrom Puduraya bus terminal to the one in Sg. Nibong took merely five hours with the bus speeding around 100km per hour. I couldn't bring myself to close my eyes because:

1. the driver was drifting! *ZOMG*
2. the ride was so bumpy as if it was moving on a road with many bumps, and
3. I wanna test my ability of not dozing off in a long journey! *Yes omma, I did not sleep!**muka bangga*

Upon reaching the bus terminal, we were whisked off to the hotel (pre-booked by Mr. J) called Dorsett by two taxis.

Looked grand huh? Imagine paying 200 over bucks for a night stay and not getting something like this? LOL...

Darn, I heart the room's bath cum toilet. So many mirrors and a bath tub...have this very royalty feeling...even the toilet bowl looked nicer and grander...LOL...

Since the bath cum toilet was so attractive, the girls and I simply could not resist the temptations to camwhore in it (haha). The evidence? We took about 5 pictures in the toilet and moi S2 sitting on the toilet bowl.

No way I'm gonna post the pictures and let you folks criticize it.

So after the camwhoring session in the toilet, our tummies, apparently, were roaring with hunger (such hyperbole...ceh) and thus, we embarked on a little journey for dinner (Chinese food puhhhhlease, sick of mamak 24/7).

And that's when the journey started to feel like a year...or 38658687712812381893 light years (I'm no dumbo or bimbo, of course I know light years are used to measure distance-lah)...which was all my fault. I brought these terribly hungry people for a stroll near Anson Road for close to an hour and I even heard their tummies grumbling! *muka apologetic* Look, I am really sorry that I got you guys into this shit and I swear that there would be no more next time...Promise!

But then, the one hour stroll in the park was not exactly that bad...considering the fact that we found out where the heck was that freaky KDU college aka the TOEFL testing centre *muka happy + rolling* Oh, by the way, Penang MGS was just next door (credits to Mr. J for telling me)*whee...I had that homey+familiar felling once again. I missed MGS Ipoh-lah*

The clock ticked and ticked and ticked, as my energy level began to deteriorate *come on-lah, kesian me-lah...did not nap mah...muka kesian*

So, Ally and I went over to the other room for our beauty sleep (haha...mother mary's favourite term)...with Mr. J and Mr. N.

On separate beds lah...ish...

Haha...so homo-lah...the only males that I knew who slept together was my appa and dongsaeng-lah...and not forgetting, the two cowboys from Brokeback Mountains. Sorry but...puahahahahaha wakakakakaka...but pity them as well because the two guys have to squeeze inside the same blankie on a queen-sized bed. I think they probably did not get a good night sleep (But then I know god will reward people like them-lah, you know, making sacrifices and all. Ah well...).

Alright, enough of these homo craps.

All 8 of us (Sheena came here with her omma and namja cheengoo) took the test at 10am the next day, which was a Saturday. In my humble opinion, I think I screwed mine...like I did for the SAT. Sigh, there goes my IL and ILS dreams...straight into the toilet bowl and to the Penang sewage system.

Philosophy and Profanity

Right...philosophy and profanity...I know how they were never a great couple but...
.
..
...
....
.....
......
....
...
..
.

I screwed my Philosophy-Moral quiz again...because I was so troubled by something else which made me didn't know what I was choosing (as the correct answer). So, kesimpulannya, I screwed it up again! WWH was basically talking about Buddhism in class which almost reduced me to tears because it somehow reminded me of my not-so-glory past and hence, touched my heart in a way.

Secondly, I tried my very best not to pollute this menial breathing space of mine with profane language but...

I am just so fucking annoyed today that I couldn't stop "fucking!fucking!fucking!" for the rest of the day.

I am still pissed at how things are going...what the hell...

Ok-lah...this is what mortals meant when they say, "Pressure is bad." I believed it now...

Miscellaneous and Randomness

Ta-da!!!
This is the legendary FKY a.k.a. Mother Mary...hohoho

This was taken right before I went to NS in Kedah, back in early March after quitting my job. FKY was the photographer so that's why she's not caught in action. (Left to right: Sophia, Moi, Charis and Shen)

The two Chinks who got JPA from my school...*whoot whoot*

Raya cookies...thanks to Razi...=)

My cousins...they are both of the same age but their size and physique build are of huge difference!!!
This is just so good!!!

Marshay

Wait!

Is that a cow in red with white crosses? Where?

It really is a cow in red with white crosses, found right outside Marshay (it's market in French). By the way, there is also another lamb/goat by the sidewalk of Marshay that is not featured here (because I tak sempat take the picture of it).

Now, what am I doing at Marshay? Marshay is a Swiss restaurant located at The Curve and I was having lunch with my housemates and my housemate's dad.

That's Uncle D. (Haha...took that picture in a split second. Hope he did not notice that *winks*)
He belanja-ed us the lunch today (muka amat grateful sebab dapat jimat duit yang semakin hari semakin berkurangan).

I shall go there again next time and allow my tongue and its buds to savor the variety of food sold at Marshay. Oh, I also wanted to drag my daddy and mummy along...my treat...haha...

Ok, the above comment is just so physical. But to be honest, I am really grateful and thankful because after a tormenting week at Subang Jaya and just Subang Jaya, I finally got to draw in some new air into my already-contaminated-by-Subang-and-Taylor's-dirty-air-pair-of-lungs and perhaps, even brought me new enthusiasm about my current life (which practically revolves around very academic stuffs). This week has been a rather emotional week to me; I felt so dead and I could sensed that I am really putting my mental health and EQ to test. I was also getting easily agitated nowadays...which was a bad thing...really bad thing.

But the worst thing was, I just could not stop making comparisons. In MGS, I don't even give it a damm who scored the highest in Add Maths or Chemistry or Physics or English (duh, like I care). I mean, of course I'll still be curious who got the highest score-lah but that curiosity evaporated hastily. Now, I don't know, I just have to constantly remind myself that yan bei yan wui bei sei yan (comparison can kill).

Ok-lah, that's enough. Or else this place will become even moodier. (does this word even exists? =P)...

When The Whole World Is Against You

Do you know
how it feels
when the whole world
is against you?

Do you know
how it feels
when you have to struggle
when everyone is looking at you
shaking their heads
their mouths
mumbling that
whatever your wish it is
it would only remain a wish
something that is only true
in the wonderful
Land of the Sweetest Dreams.

Do you know
how discourage it could be
when someone who do not
deserve the things
they are possessing now
actually got that
while you
who toiled so hard
who gave everything you have got
got nothing in return?
Yes, NOTHING.

That's the thing
happening in the world
we are all residing
right in front of our eyes.
But no one bothered
to do anything.
They turned deaf ears
over the callings of help.
They closed their eyes
to avoid seeing things.
They shut their hearts
and locked it up
in some cold dirty dungeons
in the Island of No One Cares.

Who else is there to help?

O-neureul neomu haengbokhaeyo =)

Malaysians are really a bunch of whimsical and fickle-minded humans. First they were an adamant lot and the next thing you know, they'll probably tell this straight to your face...

Aiya, I think like that no good-lah...better change to something else-lah...

=.=|||

Come on-lah...just admit that this is indeed the universal truth about Malaysians-lah...most if not all Malaysians ARE whimsical and fickle-minded. This is OUR trait...

Be proud...*muka buat peace sign*

Hajiman, o-neureul neomu haengbokhaeyo!

The Tall Glass of Water

A tall, beautiful cylindrical glass
made by the finest craftsman,
filled with
lucid water
from the faraway Alps,
is sitting precariously
on the edge of
a big, brown round
oak table.

A perilous position;
that a gentle but startling shake
is capable
of leading it to its fall.

Water will spill
drop by drop
like tears
rolling down
from a rosy cheek
and the glass
shattered into million pieces.

Oh!
How terrible is that!
I wonder what I can do
as I do not want
the work of the great craftsman
to come
to a horrendous end
because this is not its telo;
and the water
not a single drop
should be wasted.

Zhat iz Zo Zat...and Zad

October 4 was supposed to be an auspicious day...and it was...only for the later half of the day.

In the morning, I took my first official ZAT test and to be frank, I think I kinda screwed it...
*muka sad*

Ah well...I'll just have to say bye bye and kiss my ZAT selamat tinggal...now, I'm pondering whether should I retake the ZAT in December...*hmmphh*

So, I am currently at my aunt's place...haha...it's just so good to find an escapade after the torment which I had gone through for the past few months. Yeah, I know...TOEFL is up next but...

haih...

I really wanna go shopping!!!
