To begin with, no-lah...there's nothing 18PL about the journey to Penang. But to highlight, it was merely a journey of a bunch of 18 year old boys and girls up-north to the Island of the Orient *aiyo...so bodek-ing* to sit for the TOEFL exams.
Here's the cast:
1. moi S2
2. Alicia @ Lil' Princess Ally (officially 18)
3. QiFei @ Princess (legally 18)
4. ChyeHong @ Rainbow (soon-to-be-18)
5. SinYee @ Teacher Koh (turned 18 couple of days ago)
6. Mr. Jonathan @ Homo Hero 1 (unknown; but should be 18 too)
7. Mr. Nicholas @ Homo Hero 2 & Teacher Koh's adopted son (turned 18 couple of days ago)
I know. The cast's totally ignored the Yin and Yang theory but um...who cares, right?
It was my second time there this year; the first was when I was on my way home with my appa and omma and my-forever-deafening-granny from Kem Dusun Minda Resort aka Camp of Hades in Kuala Nerang, Kedah to good ol' Ipoh.
Some recap...

This is one of the buildings found in the famous Kek Lok Si Temple near the Ayer Itam market and the well-known Chung Kam Chuan's Local's Delight Shop (If you are a very Chinese or very Geography-minded person, you will know-lah. Chung Kam Chuan is Penang's equivalent of Malacca's Tan Kim Hock).

This is the island's view from the temple. I took it when my appa said, "Why you so free ar? Take something else-lah."
Sigh...my appa...

I ignored him and went on to take the second pic...Haha...
Ok, enough of digression.
Nevertheless, the journey ffrom Puduraya bus terminal to the one in Sg. Nibong took merely five hours with the bus speeding around 100km per hour. I couldn't bring myself to close my eyes because:
1. the driver was drifting! *ZOMG*
2. the ride was so bumpy as if it was moving on a road with many bumps, and
3. I wanna test my ability of not dozing off in a long journey! *Yes omma, I did not sleep!**muka bangga*
Upon reaching the bus terminal, we were whisked off to the hotel (pre-booked by Mr. J) called Dorsett by two taxis.

Looked grand huh? Imagine paying 200 over bucks for a night stay and not getting something like this? LOL...
Darn, I heart the room's bath cum toilet. So many mirrors and a bath tub...have this very royalty feeling...even the toilet bowl looked nicer and grander...LOL...
Since the bath cum toilet was so attractive, the girls and I simply could not resist the temptations to camwhore in it (haha). The evidence? We took about 5 pictures in the toilet and moi S2 sitting on the toilet bowl.
No way I'm gonna post the pictures and let you folks criticize it.
So after the camwhoring session in the toilet, our tummies, apparently, were roaring with hunger (such hyperbole...ceh) and thus, we embarked on a little journey for dinner (Chinese food puhhhhlease, sick of mamak 24/7).
And that's when the journey started to feel like a year...or 38658687712812381893 light years (I'm no dumbo or bimbo, of course I know light years are used to measure distance-lah)...which was all my fault. I brought these terribly hungry people for a stroll near Anson Road for close to an hour and I even heard their tummies grumbling! *muka apologetic* Look, I am really sorry that I got you guys into this shit and I swear that there would be no more next time...Promise!
But then, the one hour stroll in the park was not exactly that bad...considering the fact that we found out where the heck was that freaky KDU college aka the TOEFL testing centre *muka happy + rolling* Oh, by the way, Penang MGS was just next door (credits to Mr. J for telling me)*whee...I had that homey+familiar felling once again. I missed MGS Ipoh-lah*
The clock ticked and ticked and ticked, as my energy level began to deteriorate *come on-lah, kesian me-lah...did not nap mah...muka kesian*
So, Ally and I went over to the other room for our beauty sleep (haha...mother mary's favourite term)...with Mr. J and Mr. N.
On separate beds lah...ish...

Haha...so homo-lah...the only males that I knew who slept together was my appa and dongsaeng-lah...and not forgetting, the two cowboys from Brokeback Mountains. Sorry but...puahahahahaha wakakakakaka...but pity them as well because the two guys have to squeeze inside the same blankie on a queen-sized bed. I think they probably did not get a good night sleep (But then I know god will reward people like them-lah, you know, making sacrifices and all. Ah well...).
Alright, enough of these homo craps.
All 8 of us (Sheena came here with her omma and namja cheengoo) took the test at 10am the next day, which was a Saturday. In my humble opinion, I think I screwed mine...like I did for the SAT. Sigh, there goes my IL and ILS dreams...straight into the toilet bowl and to the Penang sewage system.
PS - photos credits to Ally =)
